Hosted by the ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½app Southern California Chapter
Please join us in welcoming William Curtis and Russell Windham for an engaging lecture on their new publication Building on Tradition. Over the last three decades, Curtis & Windham Architects have crafted residences and buildings in Texas that have contributed to transforming the city of Houston, particularly its River Oaks neighborhood, through a fresh and inventive approach to classical design.
Founded in Houston in 1992, Curtis & Windham’s practice emphasizes the principles of both historic and modern design, as well as the circumstance of each project. Their new book, Building on Tradition (Rizzoli, Fall 2025), delves into this philosophy, illustrating how it informs the firm’s architectural approach across diverse styles and scales.
This event is hosted by an ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½app Chapter. Please check the Chapter website or contact the Chapter directly for the most up-to-date details including dates, times, and pricing.
