Hosted by the ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½app Northwest Chapter
Join us for an afternoon of inspiring design presentations featuring Ray Booth and Jessica Helgerson.
Ray Booth is an architecturally trained designer and partner at the renowned firm McALPINE. Known for his innovative and deeply contextual approach, Ray creates interiors that are tranquil yet bold, layered with thoughtful detail and a strong sense of place. Working from studios in Nashville and New York City, his practice spans the country, producing homes that balance striking sophistication with everyday livability—hallmarks of his mastery of modern elegance. Prior to his presentation, Ray will sign copies of his new book, The Expressive Home: Architecture and Interiors.
Jessica Helgerson is an interior designer whose formative years spent between Southern California and France profoundly shaped her design sensibility. After briefly studying architecture, she founded Jessica Helgerson Interior Design in Portland, Oregon, in 2000 to pursue a more personal vision. More than twenty-five years later, the firm has grown beyond its founder while remaining rooted in Helgerson’s core ethos: responsive design guided by what is right for the place, the building, and the client. A tireless creative thinker, Jessica has launched and nurtured numerous ventures, including Front of House, an installation gallery within the JHID studio; XUXO, a collaborative supporting indigenous craftspeople in Mexico; and The One Percent Project, dedicated to addressing homelessness. Most recently, the opening of a Paris office has allowed her to fully unite the dual influences that have long informed her work.
