Hosted by the ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½app Texas Chapter
Join Margie Lavender as she traces her path from an art student at Dallas’ Booker T. Washington High School to partner at the prestigious New York–based firm Kligerman Architecture & Design — a nationally recognized residential practice known for work rooted in history yet sharpened by modern detailing, glass expanses, and sculptural form.
Shaped by a transformative studio experience in Japan, Lavender shares the enduring principles that anchor her work: Connection to Nature. Craft. Surprise. Beauty. Reinvention.
Through six compelling residential projects in New York City and across the country, she reveals how these ideas move beyond theory — shaping architecture that is thoughtful, grounded, and alive.
