Hosted by the ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½app Washington Mid-Atlantic Chapter
Join Architects Steve Knight and Josh Arcurio from David M Schwarz Architects to tour Chevy Chase Lake; a new construction, mixed-use development at the intersection of Connecticut Avenue and Manor Road in Chevy Chase, Maryland on Saturday March 28th at 11am.
The project includes three new buildings focused on a new town square. Chevy Chase Lake forms a neighborhood center that expands on the established pattern of primarily pre-World War II twentieth-century development along Connecticut Avenue from the Taft Bridge in the District to Chevy Chase Circle at the District-Maryland line. The project, however, is unique, combining uses around a well-defined public space, bringing appropriate low-impact urban village character that sits well within an established suburban context. Attendees will also have access to public space interiors which will include lobbies, courtyards, and resident amenity areas.
This event is hosted by an ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½app Chapter. Please check the Chapter website or contact the Chapter directly for the most up-to-date details including dates, times, and pricing.
